The domain name; maria-arredondo.co.uk; has just been renewed for another 2 years. Meaning we will be around some more.

It cost me just over 8 EUR, but it is kind of cheap compared to 1 year of a .dk domain

According to several different newsagents, Maria has been without manager for a while.

She has worked with Trond Fjellmann for over 10 years, but that co-operation ended shortly after “Sound of Music” stopped.

At the moment she is present with a new single with a fellow norwegian artist. It will be released on his album, later this year.

Maria is looking for a new manager and people to make her next solo-album with. She believes it will be released sometime next year

Universal Music in Norway holds an annual summer party for their signed artists.

Trond Fjellmann has joined his company Scandinavian Artist with another persons company called 6. Sans Management. The name remains 6. Sans Management.

There barely has been any news about Maria, since January, where the whole “Sound of Music” thing, went berserk…

Only news I can tell, is that the webhotel has been paid for, for 1 more year. I still need to figure out, about the status of the webdomain, but I sure hope Susan takes care of that

Good news. Sound of Music is going back on stage, and will continue until the day it was scheduled to stop. This press release has just been released:

It is with great pleasure that we, together with the entire Sound of Music ensemble and crew with Maria Arredondo, can tell that Sound of Music plays on in January and February as planned. With great enthusiasm from all parts, we have come up with a solution that makes it possible.

There has in the last week, been worked intense to find a solution, so we could go through with the plays in January and February, and the last important agreements were finalized friday 9/1.

We are especially pleased that we on this way can please the 4.000 audiences that already have bought tickets for this period, and are now opening sales for the remaining tickets. With only 16 plays towards February 15th, you have to be quick if you want to see this play.

The next play with be on January 15th.

The company behind “Sound of Music” has gone bankrupt, meaning they have to close down the musical. The company will try to make sure that the show goes until February 14th, which was planned to be the last day with the musical. If it proves unsuccesfull, people wil be offered a refund for their tickets.

The musical is at the moment, cancelled until further notice.
